Shillong, Sept 28: Police shot dead an inter-state gang of criminals on Sunday in the Assam-Meghalaya border.
The incident occurred at Ghiladubee under the Dhupdhara police station, Goalpara, in Assam.

They have been identified as Mukunda Rabha (ex-ULFA cadre), Subur Ali, Zahidul Islam, and Sengbath Marak.
According to the police, the criminals fired at the security team, which prompted retaliation.
