Shubhendu targets TMC over corruption in Tripura

Agartala, Jan 10 (UNI): Leader of the opposition in the West Bengal assembly Shubhendu Adhikari on Tuesday trained guns against Trinamool Congress on corruption and the deteriorating law and order situation taking part in several Vijay Sankalp rallies and road shows in Gomati and Sepahijala district.

Adhikari alleged Trinamool is one of the ‘most corrupt and anti-people parties in the country and said, “In 2021 the Trinamool had received cash contribution of Rs 42 Cr through electoral bonds but in 2022 they got Rs 528 Cr; where has the money come from – people want to know from Mamata Banerjee (in picture).”

They are looting the public exchequer and taking cut money from contractors, suppliers, and illegal beneficiaries; this party has already destroyed West Bengal and is now performing the last rites.

The TMC leaders have been eating away funds meant for books and dresses of the school children, he alleged and said, “I shall propose Dharmendra Pradhan to transfer the fund to the parents instead of giving the money to the state government.”

“The list of CPM’s perfidies and blood-letting is endless as it had begun with the Saibari massacre in 1970 and then moved on through Marich Jhapi, Bijan Setu (Aananda Margi massacre), Nanur, Nandigram, Netai, Chhoto Angaria and others. Same they did in Tripura over 25 years; if they come to power the same sequence will be repeated,” he stated.

Trinamool, a party of nephew and aunt, is also raring to destroy Tripura with CPM and Congress, Shubhendu observed and urged the voters not to fall prey to their ill-design.
