Shillong, Sep 4: The Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) seized over 10,000 Yaba tablets and arrested a man in the city on Thursday.
This was the second arrest in less than 24 hours.

The arrested person, identified as Labius Aregh, is the brother-in-law of the owner of City Palace Hotel in Lapalang. He was arrested following a lead from one Salnang M Sangma. The latter was arrested along with 6,000 Yaba tablets at Sawlad Madanrting on Wednesday night.
Further investigation led to the seizure of 4,000 more Yaba tablets from the hotel, sources said.
A case has been registered, and the investigation is on to find a larger network.
