Shillong, Feb 25: The state government has sought the intervention of ministry of external affairs to help 17 Meghalaya students stranded in Ukraine.
Chief Secretary Rebecca V Suchiang said the government has already written to the Ministry of External Affairs to ensure their safe return.

Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said the stranded citizens from the state will be arriving in the country on February 27 as a special flight has been arranged by the Centre for their return.
