Shillong, Oct 27: A woman was arrested on Thursday for possessing heroin.
The 46-year-old woman was picked up from Lumsohphoh with 20.05 grams of heroin in 3 soap cases, 2 mobile phones,10 golden tobacco tins containing residue of heroin and 1 vial containing residue of heroin.

The operation was carried out by the Anti Narcotics Task Forces of both East Khasi Hills and East Jaintia Hills.
Police said a case was registered under the NDPS Act at Laitumkhrah.
