Shillong, Feb 8: After SC Sadhu was brought back as the Deputy Commissioner East Khasi Hills replacing RM Kurbah, the Home department will replace East Khasi Hills SP Sylvester Nongtynger and City SP Vivek Syiem in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
An official source said on Monday that the replacement order will be released soon.

In March last year, the state government had appointed Kurbah as the new DC of East Khasi Hills transferring SC Sadhu who was appointed during the last Assembly polls.
Similarly, Sylvester and Vivek were also transferred last year only to be reappointed soon after the Assembly polls.
The cycle of appointment and reappointment will continue after the Lok Sabha polls.
