Shillong, Dec 19: The state government has effected reshuffle of senior officials, on Friday.
According to a notification issued on Friday by the Additional Secretary in-charge Personnel & AR (A) department TG Momin, Dr BDR Tiwari, IAS (RR 2006), who serves as Chief Electoral Officer and Commissioner & Secretary (Election Department), will also function as Commissioner& Secretary, Border Areas Development Department, effective from the date he assumes charge. The appointment remains valid until further orders.
Dr. Pooja Pandey, IAS (RR 2008), has been posted as Commissioner & Secretary, Home (Police) and Home (Political) Departments, taking charge immediately.
Garod L.S.N. Dykes, IAS (Non‑SCS 2011), currently Deputy Commissioner of West Khasi Hills, is transferred to the same Home (Police) and Home (Political) Departments as Secretary.
Isawanda Laloo, IAS (RR 2013), Secretary, Sports & Youth Affairs Department, will concurrently serve as Secretary, Personnel & A.R. Department.
Shivansh Awasthi, IAS (RR 2019), Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills, moves to Joint Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
Hema Nayak, IAS (RR 2020), Deputy Commissioner, South West Garo Hills, is reassigned as Deputy Commissioner, West Khasi Hills.
Saloni Verma, IAS (RR 2021), Deputy Secretary, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, will also act as Deputy Secretary, Urban Affairs Department, and Chief Executive Officer, Shillong Smart City Ltd..
Richa Kulkarni, IAS (RR 2023), previously Sub‑Divisional Officer (Sadar), West Garo Hills, is posted as Sub‑Divisional Officer (Civil), Dadenggre Civil Sub‑Division.
Vevotolu Kezo, IAS (RR 2023), formerly Sub‑Divisional Officer (Sadar), West Jaintia Hills, is transferred to Sub‑Divisional Officer (Civil), Amlarem Civil Sub‑Division.
