Shillong, Aug 28: To mark the anniversary of 75th Independence Day, the brass and jazz band of BSF Meghalaya presented a display on International border at Ram Krishna Mission Secondary School Shella, East Khasi Hills district, on Saturday.
In a statement, the BSF said the band played many popular patriotic tunes and left the audience mesmerised evoking emotions and love for the country. More than 500 people from bordering areas witnessed and enjoyed the programme. The BSF is organising many such events to celebrate ‘Azadi ka Amarit Mahotsav’ with a motto to spread awareness of national Integration and sense of patriotism among public.
