Shillong, Dec 19: Suspended Congress legislators Ampareen Lyngdoh and Mohendro Rapsang resigned as MLAs on Monday.
They submitted their resignation letters to Assembly Commissioner and Secretary Andrew Simons.

They will join the NPP around 3.30 pm.
Earlier, Ferlin Sangma, Benedic Marak (both NPP) and HM Shangpliang (Congress turned TMC) had submitted their resignation letters.
Independent MLA Samuel Sangma did not resign from Assembly but joined the BJP as an associate member.
