Shillong, June 19: UDP president Metbah Lyngdoh said the party wants to know why no-confidence motion was moved against the party MDC-led Executive Committee in the KHADC.
He said the matter will be taken up with the NPP leadership and Chief Minister Conrad Sangma as it was a shocking development and the party did not expect it from the NPP.

Speaking to reporters on Monday evening after a meeting with the outgoing CEM Titosstarwell Chyne and other party members, Metbah said the mover of the NC did not explain the reason in the House.
