Shillong, Dec 1: The return of NEHU VC PS Shukla on December 2 is uncertain following the extension of time for the two-member probe panel.
The union ministry of education has responded to. DP. Singh, Chairman of the Inquiry Committee, NEHU who had sought extension of 15 days to submit the report.

The letter was written on November 28.
The first order to constitute the committee was on November 14 and the panel was to submit the report within 15 days on November 29.
Earlier, before the extension of the committee, Shukla had sought security from the Centre as he wanted to assume office on December 2.
