Shillong, Dec 3: The Dorbar Shnong Mukroh Pyllun has sought the intervention of the state government stop encroachment by the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) into Mukroh village under Laskein block in West Jaintia Hills district.
Concerned over the issue, a delegation of the village heads also met and submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Home Prestone Tynsong and Deputy Chief Minister in-charge urban affairs Sniawbhalang Dhar on the matter.

Later they addressed the press and narrated their plight.
According to the Chairman, Shilangki Phawa the KAAC continues to encroach into the jurisdiction of Mukroh village which needs to be stopped.
