“Once completed, the water will be sparkling clean, and with this use of technology that is known as Nanobubbles, it will help to oxygenate the lake,” he said.

The minister further announced that Rs 4 crore has also been earmarked for starting the work for the light-and-sound show at Ward’s Lake. The project will take 6-8 months to complete, and work is expected to begin by the end of August.

Besides, 10-12 toilets will be constructed at various tourist sites at a cost of Rs 25 lakh.
