Shillong, Oct 16: A member of the inter-state gang of drug peddlers was arrested in East Jaintia Hills on October 14.
The 22-year-old man was identified as Abdul Rob Laskar, who was travelling from Silchar. He was arrested during a naka operation by the anti-narcotics task force of the East Jaintia Hills District police. The police also found 60 gm of contraband in his possession.
