Shillong, Oct 27: Assam Rifles Public School and Project Empathy (www.projectempathy.org.in) is presenting the ‘I Am With You Empathy Art Exhibition ‘ from October 29 to 31 at All Saints Hall, Shillong.
In a statement, the Assam Rifles said the upcoming exhibition is being logistically supported by the Assam Rifles as an ongoing endeavour to create compassionate communities in the North East region.
An interschool exhibition, themed Empathy, will feature thought-provoking artworks by students from schools and higher education institutions across Shillong, the seven sister states, and the national capital. The event welcomes government officials, institutional heads, educators, parents, and students to experience the many shades of empathy expressed through art. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
I Am With You celebrates empathy, belonging, and shared humanity — the strength to walk in another’s shoes and to affirm the worth of others. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Governor CH Vijayashankar on October 29 at 4:30 PM.
