Shillong, Nov 27: All Jaintia Contractors and Suppliers Association has demanded the clearance of pending bills for works done under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) projects.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, the president of All Jaintia Contractors and Suppliers Association, Welcome Langni said the government is yet to clear bills worth several crores of rupees since 2019.

The pending amount in the entire state is Rs 700 crore.
