Shillong-based music band Lone Odds released its debut album EN-TRANCE last December.
This was the band’s second feather in the cap in 2025 after they released EP Ephemeral, which defined the musical journeys of the band members Duncan Kharmalki and Abel Phoenix.
EN-TRANCE was released on December 21, “the moment of stepping into something we have always been afraid to unlock”, the members said.
“The title carries two meanings. En-trance is an entrance into hidden emotions and unspoken truths, and also a trance, a state where control fades and feeling takes over. The hyphen creates a dual perspective, inviting listeners to interpret the album in their own way,” said Abel.
This debut marks Lone Odds’ first step into their true sound. En-trance is not about escape, but about arrival. The album is available on Apple Music and YouTube.
