Shillong Jan 13: BJP national working president Nitin Nabin is hopeful that the party will touch double digits in the next Assembly polls in 2028.
BJP legislator AL Hek met Nabin in Shillong for a comprehensive discussion on the future roadmap for the BJP in Meghalaya.
In a statement, the state BJP said that ways and means of expanding the party and strengthening the grass roots through proactive development works were among the many topics that were touched upon.
The recently appointed working president noted that the BJP has been increasing its mass appeal in Meghalaya over the past few years and expressed optimism that the party would touch double digits in 2028, as predicted by Meghalaya BJP state president Rikman G Momin in a recent interaction with the press.
