Shillong, Jan 30: A video footage has helped the police to arrest two thieves for stealing a mobile from a store in the city.
According to police, an FIR was received on January 29 that on January 22, two persons entered the store M/s AK Enterprises at Glorys Plaza and stole a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra mobile phone and a video footage of the theft had gone viral on social media.

On Friday, SI Arkwis Iawphniaw of Sadar PS and team arrested the two persons involved namely Bracely Suna and Underson Sumer from Mukhla, West Jaintia Hills. Investigation is ongoing to ascertain if they are involved in many other burglary and snatching cases, police added.
