Do or die for NPP, must win for Cong: Pala on GHADC polls
Cong to release list of candidates on Feb 24

Shillong. Feb 22: Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Vincent Pala has alleged the use of government machinery and money by the ruling NPP to win the GHADC polls.
“I told my workers that for the NPP, it is do or die, but for the Congress, it is a must-win”, Pala said, referring to the misuse of government machinery.
The upcoming election will be intense for both Congress and the NPP, he added.
Pala admitted that it would be very challenging for the Congress as the NPP is using government machinery, money, power and other means.
“What they did was today they declared the election date, and today only they are releasing the candidates, which reveals that it is not fair like before”, Pala said.
The party is scheduled to sit on Feb 24 to announce the names of the candidates.
“We have already done our groundwork from September-October, hopefully we will do well in the council polls”, he said.
