Shillong, Mar 5: SPARK, a city-based NGO, organised a special Holi event for the underprivileged children in Shillong on March 4.
The celebration commenced with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a prayer service conducted by the children. Shima Modak, founder and president of SPARK, explained the true essence of Holi. She encouraged the children to understand the significance of the festival and to always walk on the path of righteousness, goodness, and unity.

There was a musical event too. The event served as a reminder that celebrations need not be grand or extravagant. Even small gatherings filled with love and togetherness can bring immense smiles and renewed energy.
