Shillong, April 27: Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Lahkmen Rymbui said he is not happy due to the loss of lives during the construction of Shillong-Dawki road.
Two passengers of a vehicle died due to a rockslide at Mawlieh in Pynursla on April 21.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Rymbui said, “I am not satisfied because human lives have been lost but I am satisfied with the steps taken by the government to see that the road is completed and more importantly to see that no disaster happens. Since disaster struck I am very sad to see those types of incidents happened,” he said.
