Shillong, April 27: Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar has attended a meeting convened by the Union Minister in charge of Urban Affairs in New Delhi on Monday regarding Urban Challenge Fund (UCF)

Dhar pressed for greater support for Shillong’s infrastructure and represented Meghalaya’s interests and pushed for greater support for Shillong, highlighting the city’s growing urban needs and future potential.
The meeting discussed Urban Challenge Fund, aimed at transforming urban infrastructure, strengthening city planning, and promoting sustainable development across the country.
The scheme is to unlock large-scale investments for urban growth and create stronger, more resilient cities.
