Shillong, June 5: The filing of nominations of NPP nominee James Sangma to contest the lone Rajya Sabha seat was postponed to June 8 (Monday) at 11 am.
Monday is the last day for filing nominations for the election to be held on June 18.

However, some party members and MLAs from other parties, who were unaware, were already present at the old Assembly secretariat.
The returning officer, Mathus Sangma (in picture), said some documents were not ready, hence the filing of nominations was postponed to Monday.
