Shillong,July 11: Police have issued a look-out notice for a Mizo student of a city college for sexual exploitation of several victims.
According to East Khasi Hills SP Vivek Syiem, as the accused is absconding, a look-out notice was issued.
The student went to Aizawl from Shillong during the summer break in the college but absconded following complaints.
One of several victims lodged a complaint with the police.
The matter came to light when sexual harassment instances involving the accused were posted on social media.
The chairpersons of both the commissions of women and children have taken up the matter with the police.
Several Mizo organisations in Shillong met and condemned the incident, and assured support to the police.
They have contacted their counterparts in Mizoram to follow up the issue.
