State treats accused in Raja murder case after coughing up blood

Shillong, Aug 17: The district prison and correctional home provided treatment to Raj Singh Kushwaha, one of the accused in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, after he coughed up blood.

An official source said that during the trial in the court of Additional DC, Judicial, Kushwaha complained that he had been coughing up blood, and he was given only paracetamol.

Following this,  proper medical assistance was provided to the accused, who is currently healthy, the source added.
