Shillong, Sept 17: After the petrol bomb attacks on the office of the directorate of mineral resources department and Landing police station on Wednesday( Sept 16), two more cases were reported on Thursday ( Sept 17).
Following the incident, police have urged institutions and petrol pumps to be alert.
Police said information was received around 3,27 am on Thursday, one vehicle was burnt inside health complex .Directorate of Health Services after petrol bombs were hurled.
Another incident was reported around 3.55 am by a passe rby(lady) to the effect that police booth at Nongmensong bazar has been set on fire.
During investigation and on reaching the spot, it was found that the police booth placed on the junction on the way to Umling BSF was set on fire by miscreants using a vehicle tyre.
The fire was doused off with the help of fire and emergency service.
