Shillong, Oct 19: UDP MLAs Paul Lyngdoh and Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar met Assembly Speaker Thomas Sangma on Monday ( Oct 19) and submitted the letter of merger with the NPP.
Another UDP MLA, Nujorki Sungoh, was not present due to medical reasons.

Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said the Speaker will take his decision and inform.
Later, the Speaker said he would seek legal opinion before approving the merger.
One MLA ( Nujorki) was not physically present, and I have to know his intention, either by way of his physical presence or his consent via online.
