Shillong, Sept 13 :Assembly Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh on Monday adjourned the House as a mark of respect to the departed MLA SK Sunn.
The Speaker said when a sitting legislator dies when the Assembly is in session, the House is adjourned.

The Assembly only took up obituary reference during the day.
