Shillong, June 2: The Achik Conscious Holistically Integrated KRIMA on Monday met Governor GH Vijayashankhar and stressed the need of establishing winter capital, enforcement of ILP to control influx, codification of Garo customary law and electoral roll for GHADC, funding augmentation for Captain Williamson Sangma State University among others.
The ACHIK also demanded expansion of Baljek airport and new district under the name Dadenggre to be carved out of West Garo Hills.
