Shillong, July 31: Social activist Cherian Momin on Wednesday petitioned Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on poor road condition in the constituency of Resubelpara MLA and Deputy Speaker Timothy Shira.
Momin said the state of these roads is deplorable, severely impacting the daily lives of the residents, school children,
office-goers, and the general populace.
The roads which need immediate attentionÂ
DC Office Road: The primary access road to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
DRDA Office Road: Serving the District Rural
Development Agency.
PWD Office Road: Connecting to the Public Works Department office.
Municipal Office Road: Leading to the municipal office.
Resu DC Office Road: An essential route for accessing various governmental offices.
Resu Rome Rabha Road Near DC Office: A vital link for the local community.
Jonglapara Road Near DC Office: Crucial for both residents and office-goers.
Dekatchang Bajar to DC Office Road: A significant route used by traders and locals.
