Shillong, July 2: After a lull, rain returned to many parts of the state.
Earlier in the wee hours on July 2, the IMD, Shillong predicted light to moderate rainfall with possibility of isolated heavy rain at most places over East Khasi Hills, South West Khasi Hills, East Jaintia Hills, West Jaintia Hills, and parts of South Garo Hills, Ribhoi, West Khasi Hills and Eastern West Khasi Hills, in next 6 hours.
