Shillong, Oct 31: Entrepreneur and former journalist Allan West Kharkongor has joined the NPP on Monday.
Soon after his entry, the state president of the party, WR Kharlukhi announced that Allan will contest from Sohra.

Allan, who is also an event manager, runs a cafe in Sohra and had taken up development and tourism related issues, especially the cleanliness of the area.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong, state party president WR Kharlukhi, MDC Grace Mary Kharpuri among others were also present.
It was a welcome back for Allan as he was associated with NCP headed by PA Sangma, the architect of NPP.
