Shillong, June 30: State Vice President and Tura MDC Bernard N Marak visited the incomplete JJMs works which are shown completed.
Marak and his team will visit the villages which are shown completed under JJM.
According to Marak, all completed projects should have satisfied beneficiaries for availing “Har Ghar Jal”. “If families have not received water, legal steps will be taken against the contractors, engineers and all the names published on the completion hoardings. BJP will not compromise on incomplete projects and will not let the culprits get away if the mission to provide drinkable running water to every family fails”, he said.
Bernard said report will be sent to Centre too and high level inquiry will also be sought.
“All villages which do not have drinkable running water even after JJM completion hoardings can lodge their complaints with photographs of hoardings and the taps, pipe, tanks etc in CSMC in arigri.com. Arigri team will also start functioning in Khasi and Jaintia Hills districts in the second week of July”, Marak said.
