Shillong,Feb 22: The BJP and the RSS have captured all the institutions in the country, Congress star campaigner Rahul Gandhi said on Wednesday at Malki Ground in the city where a crowd gathered to listen to him ahead of the February 27 Assembly polls.
“The BJP and the RSS who are running the government have captured all institutions whether it is the parliament, the media, the bureaucracy, the judiciary and the election commission”, Rahul said.
The Congress leader said the intention of holding the Bharat Jodo Rally was to resist the capturing of all institutions by the rulers of the country.
“The government of the day led by the BJP fails to understand multiple ideologies, religions, cultures and traditions as they (BJP) believe only in singular ideology”, he said.
He also highlighted the series of corruption by the NPP-led MDA government especially the collapse of the dome, rice scam and illegal coal mining.
