A counselling psychologist and heartfulness practitioner at Silver Oak University in Ahmedabad, Gopwani has spent years navigating the intersection of personal well-being and mindful healing.

Before venturing into psychology, Gopwani worked in Hong Kong’s dynamic business environment, handling design, manufacturing and exports. From developing promotional products to managing diamond jewellery design, her early career sharpened her ability to understand human needs and solve complex problems — skills that would later prove invaluable in her psychological practice.

Gopwani’s shift towards psychology was fuelled by her desire to work closely with people, helping them overcome personal challenges and improve their mental health.

Earning her MA in Psychology, she began her career as a counsellor, bringing with her a unique perspective shaped by her business background and multicultural exposure. This experience has made her particularly adept at understanding clients from diverse walks of life.

Her approach to counselling integrates therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioural therapy, person-centred psychotherapy and psychospiritual counselling. As a heartfulness meditation trainer, she guides individuals in exploring their inner selves, fostering emotional resilience and personal growth.

In addition to her clinical practice, Gopwani serves as the Gujarat State Facilitator for HOPE (Heartfulness Odyssey for Personal Excellence), a programme promoting well-being through mindfulness. Her involvement in heartfulness extends to her role with the Heartfulness Institute, where she works on integrating meditation and mental health care, offering a holistic approach to healing.
