Shillong, June 19: The bomb threat mail sent to the High Court of Meghalaya on Tuesday turned out to be spam.
A police official dealing with the matter said the email came from cutiekath101@beebie and it was spam. The mail sent in the morning hours said that a bomb was planted at the High Court building.

Following the threat, the police beefed up security at the building besides deploying bomb disposal squad. The cyber cell of the Meghalaya police is probing the matter
Similar threat emails were also sent to some other organisations all over the country, the official added.
Earlier on January 6 this year, there was a similar bomb threat to the High Court building.
