BP Todi gets award for legal contribution
Shillong, April 19: Former Meghalaya Advocate General Dr BP Todi was awarded for his contribution in the field of constitutional and mercantile laws, in New Delhi, on April 17.
The award was presented to Dr Todi, who is also a senior advocate, by former Chief Justice of India Dr Balakrishnan for his unique contribution in the field of constitutional and mercantile laws.
Dr Todi was recognised for being an accomplished senior designated advocate and his display of fine example of professional practice performed at the highest level and being a role model for the lawyers’ fraternity.
A felicitation function on the occasion of National Law Day was held at V.K.Krishna Menon Auditorium, Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi.
At the function, besides Dr Balakrishnan, former Chief Justice of India, M.C.Bhandari, former Governor of Odisha and Justice Karpag Vinayabam former Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court among others were present. The function was attended by a large number of senior and junior advocates and guests.
