Shillong, Aug 17: The Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Shillong has installed a breast feeding kiosk at Bethany Hospital Shillong, on Saturday.
East Khasi Hills District Medical and Health Officer Dr Adreena Lyngdoh opened the initiative.

The event was organised at a time when the IWC is celebrating 100 years of its existence.
Besides Lyngdoh, others who spoke on the occasion include chairperson IWC Geeta Sarin, president Rashi Vaswani, general secretary Sangeeta Das Bethany hospital doctors Rebecca Sailo and Uma Ghosh.
The purpose is to uplift women’s health and respect besides ensuring women’s privacy and dignity of lactating women.
