Shillong, Nov 14: The missing BSF officer was found on Monday.
According to a BSF statement, on November 13 around 10.30 am, Raj Narayan Mishra, Commandant, 200 Battalion, Border Security Force (BSF), while he was on an area familiarisation recce of the thick forest of West Garo Hills got separated from the main body of the team.

The BSF said immediately considering the factors of fading sunlight and dense jungle, a joint operation consisting of BSF personnel, local villagers, forest and police officials was launched, and resultantly the officer was tracked down.
