Shillong, April 28: The BSF Meghalaya seized cosmetics skin shine cream worth Rs 31 lakh from the bordering area of East Jaintia Hills
The BSF on Thursday foiled the attempt of the miscreants to smuggle them to Bangladesh.

An official statement of the BSF said the consignment was seized by the troops of 172 Bn BSF near BOP- Hangaria, East Jaintia Hills.
The items were dumped in jungle area close to international border meant for smuggling to Bangladesh. The seized items were handed over to customs for further disposal.
The BSF Meghalaya since January this year seized cosmetics worth more than Rs 97 lakh from the Indo-Bangladesh border of Meghalaya.
