Shillong, Mar 5: Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh said on Wednesday the proposed state dispensary at Mawlai Nonglum is under consideration.
Lyngdoh was replying to a question during the Budget Session 2025. She said the technical proceeding would start after a recent site inspection.
“Since the land does not belong to the Health Department, we have sought NOC from the concerned dorbar,’ she said, adding that the matter would be pursued depending on fund availability.
VPP legislator from Mawlai Brightstarwell Marbaniang requested the government to expedite the process since the dispensary at Nonglum is functioning from a rented place.
