Shillong, July 31: Businessmen claimed that the transportation of scientifically mined coal was carried out from the state.
According to the state mining and geology department, for the first time in Meghalaya, transportation of scientifically mined coal in 5 trailer trucks was carried out from Pahamlang sales depot in Ri Bhoi district to different parts of the country.

Some buyers from UP wee seen at the Pahamlang sales depot to transport the coal.
The scientifically mined coal originated from Saryngkham. The lessee is Dapmain Shylla, East Jaintia Hills.
