Cabinet nod to mental health rules

Shillong, Dec 9: The cabinet on Tuesday approved the Meghalaya Mental Healthcare Rules.

Announcing the decision after the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma told reporters that various institutions involved in mental healthcare, rehabilitation, and related services were operating without a formal regulatory framework.
