Shillong, Oct 29: The cabinet has approved the schedule for the preparation of rolls for the conduct of elections for the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council.
Briefing reporters after the cabinet meeting, MDA spokesperson Wailadmiki Shylla said the update of electoral roll is needed before announcing the date of polls.
