The chief minister also posted an order in this regard but there was no signature.

The students (in picture) had faced a lot of hardships while appearing for the CUET at NEHU.

Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma on Wednesday said forty to fifty percent of the class XII passed students have not registered for Common University Entrance Test – Under Graduate (CUET-UG) held recently in the state.

“About 6,000 to 7000 students appeared for CUET-UG but many did not register. 40-50% of class XII passed students did not register for the CUET examination this year. This may be due to lack of communication, lack of awareness but I would advise my students to keep themselves updated and know what is happening in the country…,” Sangma said.
