Shillong, Feb 9: TMC legislator Charles Pyngrope said on Sunday that he is wishing the Congress candidate from Nongthymmai all the best for the KHADC polls.
According to Pyngrope, since anti defection law prevents him from.openly supporting the Congress candidate, he is wishing him success.

When asked about Trinamool Congress, Charles, who is also the TMC state president, said due to declining popularity in Khasi-Jaintia Hills, the party did not field candidates for the council polls.
