Shillong, March 11: The family of former HNLC leader Cherishstarfield Thangkhiew was cross-examined for five hours by the advocate of the police, on Friday.
The chairman of the judicial inquiry commission, retired chief Justice T Vaiphei said that the cross-examination will continue.

The commission will examine whether the police personnel in involved in the operation should be cross-examined.
Earlier, four police personnel, who were witnesses, were examined by the commission.
The commission wants to complete the probe at the earliest.
