Shillong, May 27: A city student secured Reliance Foundation Scholarship award to pursue her studies.
The student, Natasha Deb from Jail road, is pursuing B.Com from St Anthony’s College.
Here is what Natasha has to say:
“We had to register ourselves with the reliance foundation scholarship. During the registration, we had to give our basic details, our class 10th and 12th results as well and the basic annual income, etc. The scholarship was based on an aptitude test which was held online. The scholarships are awarded on merit-cum-means basis. My aptitude test was held in the month of February. We even had a practise aptitude test. After that we just had to wait for our results. So, recently the undergraduate results were out and I was selected. I even had an online interview with one of the ma’ams where she asked me some questions regarding my experience and how this scholarship will help me. The selected scholars will receive grants upto Rs 2 lakh over their course of study besides becoming the vibrant alumni network”.
