1. Creation of a separate cadre for Meghalaya, currently part of a joint cadre with Assam, to ensure better administrative autonomy.
2. Inclusion of Khasi and Garo languages in the 8th Schedule, a step toward recognition and preservation of indigenous languages.
3. Implementation of the Inner Line Permit (ILP) in Meghalaya – to safeguard the interests and identity of the people.
4. Naming a road in New Delhi after (L) SP. A. Sangma, a tribute to one of India’s tallest leaders and statesmen.
